Overall Goal: To support the transition from cash transfers to more integrated social protection programs

Funding Agency: Government of Kenya with support from the World Bank and FCDO

Kuza Jamii will build on best practices from HSNP 1&2(Hunger safety net program) and KSEIP EIP(Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) under the Government of Kenya Social and Economic Inclusion Project (KSEIP) including:

• Community-based targeting for the extreme poor
• Adopting the Enhanced Single Registry and GoK’s Harmonized Targeting Tool for participant identification and selection of participants under KSEIP EIP Intervention
• Adopting the tools developed in the EIP pilot under KSEIP EIP
• Shock responsive programming
