Overall Goal: Narrowing Digital Divide in Mandera County
Funding Agency: This project, led by KICTANet with support from the UK Government’s Digital Access Programme through the British High Commission in Nairobi, in collaboration with the Government of Kenya, the County Governments of Busia and Mandera.
The Project will equip women, youth, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Mandera with essential digital skills.

Engagement with Digital Service Providers
Three key components
The project aims to deliver foundational digital literacy skills for 150,000 local citizens of Mandera
The project will deploy 1500 Community Digital Champions (CDCs) local youths trained by ICT Authority on Basic Digital Skills modules with the support of KICTAnet.
Selection and equipment of three (3) innovation Hubs(iHubs) with 150 computers/ ICT infrastructure
